I Bought Nirvana... or How I Stopped Caring and Learned to Sell Out
God damnit! I said I wasn't gonna get this, but why did it have to be so cheap at Target? Waif me...
On a plus side, the Been A Son is the Blew EP version, which the version on my old Outcesticide can now lick it's own balls. |

If anything, Been A Son, Sliver, and the Pennyroyal Tea Single Mix were my reasons for getting it. After a thorough listening though, the Remaster on The Nevermind and In Utero Tracks sound fuckin great. The other tracks however, sound better but you can tell, especially in been a son, about a girl, and sliver, that the new mastering on those tracks took its toll. The hiss is a bit noticable and such. The Unplugged tracks are ok, but i think the track entrances shouldn't have been cut so much (awkward track split). This gh package could have been a couple tracks longer and should have been given a bit more time to work on. Other than that, the few 'rarities' it offers makes it a good buy.
