Make sure you ask him if his red shirt means he's coming back to SP

Oh my god... jazz is so fucking boring to me. And I don't like how everyone has to applaud after every solo. Jimmy was great (as always), but Heyzeus Kristos, what a fucking boring ass way to spend an evening!

Open mic nights at Zuzu's are surely less boring. (Sorry, Matt, I have to stab you a little.)
I was resisting the urge to yell "1979!!!!"

I actually haven't been to the open mic there in a long time... I should play there again sometime. (stab away, I'm not offended. )

I have to be judgemental, don't go to a jazz gig if you don't like jazz! What did you think would happen!?

I hope I get to see a Jimmy jazz gig one day. I love live music, any genre really, as long as the band is good and there is booze!

I was fully aware of what I was in for. I just went to see Jimmy play, and it was cool. I enjoyed listening to him play...

I wasn't rude to the performers. I just think most jazz is boring as fuck. I stand by my statement.

it is a lot of wanking so if you're not all about musicians wanking then maybe you might find it boring

Vince Noir: I'll train you up.
Howard Moon: You?
Vince Noir: Yeah. I'm a Cockney bitch. I'm a ragamuffin from the streets.
Howard Moon: You? You're a French duke if I ever saw one. You lay around on hammocks all day eating soft cheese.

You spend evenings at a tea-store listening to Billy Corgan play records for Heavens sake.

yeah... records that are actual songs... not just musical masturbation for applause. Jazz blows. Plus I get to drink tea.

I should qualify my statement... the techniques of jazz are actually pretty cool... but only when transposed upon a different genre. And again... Jimmy was awesome. I would have had more fun just listening to him soloing for an hour though. He's just that good. He's STILL that good.

I should also add this addendum... the frequencies that are projected by the saxaphone hurt my ears and I really can't stand to listen to it for very long... as well as most other horns, except for the french horn, which I find delightful.
