TORRENT: 1996-10-06 COMPLETE!
As promised:
http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...ad.php?t=24829 tsp1996-10-06 From SPLRA The Smashing Pumpkins Date: 1996-10-06 Venue: Rosemont Horizon Location: Rosemont, IL, US Venue Type: Arena Capacity: 18,500 AUD #1 Source: AUD Format: DAT Equipment: CSB>D7 Length: ~145m Complete: Yes Lowest Gen: DAT-ANA-CDR Notes: DAT-ANA-3CDR version also circulates, but is inferior quality to the ANA- transfer. However, the ANA- transfer cuts during Silverfuck and misses Farewell and Goodnight. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- traveller03's dEdit notes: This file set is comprised mainly of the ANA-L transfer. The end of Silverfuck and Farewell and Goodnight are patched from the ANA-3 transfer using as simple crossfade in Adobe Audition 2.0. You can tell where the edit took place as the audio suddenly has more tape hiss. The only other editing I did was to normalize disc 2 to 98%. For some reason it had lower levels than disc 1. One odd thing about the ANA-3 patch I noticed is that Farewell and Goodnight sounds a little more hissy than Silverfuck even though they are from the same ANA-3 tape. The spectrum is a bit more noisy looking too. I don't know what would have caused that unless the ANA-3 tape had F&G added to the end from an even higher gen source. In any case we now have a complete and listenable though hissy version of this AMAZING show. Hopefully a transfer from the DAT will surface one day. For now this will have to do. Thanks to Ben and Ziggy for getting the ANA-3 transfer done! Set Disc 1: 76:53 01 Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness 2:55 02 Where Boys Fear to Tread 4:30 03 Zero 2:30 04 Cherub Rock 4:16 05 Tonight, Tonight 4:51 06 Today 5:04 07 Thru the Eyes of Ruby 8:40 08 By Starlight 6:40 09 banter 2:21 10 Siva 6:40 11 Disarm 4:00 12 Bullet with Butterfly Wings 4:51 13 Fuck You 5:23 14 Porcelina of the Vast Oceans Rocket (tease) 14:12 Disc 2: 71:30 Encore One 01 In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida [Iron Butterfly] (tease) 4:23 02 X.Y.U. 10:52 Encore Two 03 introducing Jimmy Frog / picking the dancers 7:27 04 1979 7:40 05 Muzzle 6:23 Encore Three 06 Silverfuck 28:45 07 Farewell and Goodnight (abandoned) 6:00 ------------------------------------------------- Total time: 148:23 Source info for ANA-L: AUD>DAT[CSB>D7]>ANA-L>CDR (unknown gen)>EAC Source info for ANA-3: AUD>DAT[CSB>D7]>ANA-3>Ziggy's transfer to PC>dEdit>FLAC>WAV Enjoy!
