I went to buy the CD from the Make website and shipping to Virginia was $9.54 for a $10 item. I'll wait for it to show up somewhere reasonable, but if you like his work I do hope you shell out a few dollars to encourage his work.

This sounds more like a new jazz project than a Complex album.

I'm a little bummed at how jazzy this record is, I was hoping for something more fusion-y/tuneful like the first record, I especially liked where Paranoia was heading, that's a REALLY great track, backed up by a killer video.

While I enjoy the Parable, I doubt I'll listen to this as much as I did Life Begins Again, that record to me is so great, start to finish.

The best song from the new releases is missing.
While this song sounds more like fusion jazz from the seventies, the other songs are more like cool jazz from the sixties. The different style might be the reason why they didn't put the song on the actual album.


On Amazon in the United States there's only the announcement for the CD and the vinyl to be published on January 12 next year.

I just listened to it for the first time, quite a pleasant listen. I much rather listen to Jimmy's full blown jazz record than Billy's whatever record.

Also i met Jimmy in 2005 and told him i much preferred his solo album to that of Billy. I wouldn't use the same worde if i met him this year but the same is true again. Funny how they both released solo albums only in 2005 and 2017

Complex music was never much for me, but I got to see JC play a couple of jazz gigs in Chicago. I'm all for jazzy JC albums.
