This will sound gay but my Mom got me into Steely Dan. It is the only band that my mother has gotten me into. She's been a fan since the beginning and that's her favorite band. I just like that kind of music, it's different. I don't think they deserved the 2003 Grammy with Everything Must Go because there was nothing really special about that album. I would have picked Beck's Midnite Vultures.

i saw a post about the giant pillow fight in the toronto community on livejournal. at that point i was really depressed/drugged out and it just seemed like the purest breath of fresh air i could ask for. i haven't missed an event since.
