the only songs i really like are daily routine, guys eyes and brothersport. i don't know what it is with this album, the songs are good and all but for some reason it doesn't do much for me. it lacks intensity.

i listened to this whole way through again. i like the first half considerably more. i dont think ill be listening to this album again in a few weeks, though.
when i think about it i love feels and i can be without the rest of the AC discography, really. i like sung tongs but not enough that i ever revisit it outside of a few songs. |

Strawberry Jam is very slept on. I think it's very good, and maybe their best... currently torn between that or Feels.

who wants to explain to zbeast78 that slept on means that an album was ignored while strawberry jam was animal collective's most widely listened to and discussed album to date when it was released

one of my childhood friends who is Jamaican listens to Explosions in the Sky and Circle Takes the Square but despite that I can't associate black people with indie rock and unfortunately girls with slutty scene looks who listen to the Magnetic Fields and Patrick Wolf will always be a major turn-on so its all like i can appreciate Black People and their art but I will never find a black person attractive ~the untrill never lived |

i only meant that it's being overlooked in this thread (and others i've recently read). I see a lot more people mentioning Feels or Sung Tongs.

i doubt you got my point though. everything can be said on netphoria without any decent discussion but when someone says he'd prefer zeitgeist over the new AC album, he is obviously wrong. off with his head!

he's not wrong about that, i dont care whether he prefers Zeitgeist or not. Its a moot point, really. Elaboration on 'audio shite', on the other hand...
