Broken Social Scene in Houston last night

They were great. There were so many sad little emo boys and girls lined up to get in and it took forever to get in thanks to everyone in the fucking world doing will call. My brother and I had fun and got drunk.

oh, and as an aside: we never made it downtown on my birthday. i was asleep by 10:30 after a few hours at barfly's & burger tex

They played at Bass Concert Hall on Saturday night. Based on my previous Flaming Lips/Beck experience there, I won't attend another show there unless it's something special. It's not a venue suited for loud rock music. I'm sure plays/operas/orchestras are great though.
