I actually don't eat much fake anything tbh. I do like veggie patties but that's hit n miss - my fave brand is dr praeger's or Hillary's.

Fake bacon, eggs, sausage etc is so unappealing to me tbh. I do eat eggs though; could never give those up or real cheese - s'why I'm not vegan. I do like almond milk and non dairy ice cream tho.

I prefer the veggie patties and nuggets to beef and chicken. I don't like eggs, real or fake. but I MUST have real dairy. the fake cheese and ice cream are just no comparison.

Fake cheese doesn't melt nearly at the same rate that dairy cheese does and that grosses me out. Can't get past it.
But it also helps dairy free ice cream is usually low calorie; sure it's not the same but I'm ok with it.

Houston has so many veggie options it's crazy. I'll miss it when we go back to KC, where there's like 3.

I haven't read many Black Panther comics, but I was reading that run that was being written by Ta-Nehisi Coates of the Atlantic. It was really good, but unfortunately, I didn't keep up with it, as I kind of fell off of reading monthly comics and haven't gotten back on yet.

We visited Austin a couple weekends ago. Loved what we saw of it - we went kayaking on the river and stayed in a motel and went to the weird museum gift shop.on 6th.

Again, not sure if it's unpopular or not, but I literally disagree with 99% of the online/Tumblr fat acceptance movement. It's full of pseudoscience, misinformation, and outright lies.

About the only thing I agree with is that overweight people absolutely deserve to live with dignity.

Baths are overrated. I'm in one right now, because I'm sick and conventional wisdom is that this shit is supposed to make me feel better.

Yeah, nothing like cramming info a tub, in which you cannot even lie down comfortably and sitting in water with nothing to do to make you feel amazing.

Showers are where it's at.

I like the soup part, but anything other than hot liquid food when I've got a cold feels like it'll only irritate my throat more.

Coconut oil is overrated healthwise, in that people tout it for supposed health benefits because it's "natural" and shit, even though it's no less full of saturated fats than margarine or butter are.

But in terms of taste, it's fucking delicious, and I use it in so many things.
