Also Shadaloo you nailed the first 4, good job. Why is Three Imaginary Boys so low though? Is it because Killing an Arab is excluded and the real album is Boys Don't Cry?
Nah, either way. It's only because they just kept getting better and better and there's some fairly meh material on there. There have been stronger debut albums. I couldn't tell you how Object, Meathook or It's Not You go off the top of my head.

I'll put it this way

Robert Smith's drunken rambling throwaway in "So What" is better than every SP song

Why is everyone putting Wish so far down, too? I mean, I know it's a little overrated but it's still a beautiful album.

Forgettable post-punk songs happen sometimes Elph, and that's okay. I mean,

I put on The Queen Is Dead once and I heard, like

Nine of 'em

I like Wish okay, but much of the middle third of it drags and High is just a bit too sugary sweet for me.

You know how a lot of people maintain a band is the greatest of all time and you try and try and for the life of you, never understand where the appeal comes from? That's the Smiths for me. Can't do it. Nothing against anyone in there but Morrissey but nothing grabs me.

The only Cure song Silvery remotely resembles is End Of a The World. Which was also a big “here’s a hit!” thing the band did a million years into their career, when some juice was starting to build around their new material. Incredibly, this Cure song came 27 years into their existence, Silvery has appeared after 30. (I like Silvery, I’m just saying, Jesus we’re old).

tbh give the album some time. It’s a grower.

Some standouts:
Want, Jupiter Crash, Strange Attraction, Trap, Treasure, Bare

the bsides to the album are arguably better than some tracks that made the album, “It used to be me” is a gem.

Well of course, you don't like any music created after 1982.
