Judas Iscariot
Right after Machina/Machina II some bozo friend of mine told me a new set of B-Sides like Pisces was coming out.
Did anyone else ever hear anything about that? I've always suspected it was BS, because my friend was. |

Some douchebag claims he's got one in the original plastic unopened blah blah blah.
The asshole wants $59.98 for it. The internet fucking sucks man. Why do clowns that totally don't appreciate music do this shit? It's like selling Beatles songs for Tide commercials or something. It's WRONG. |

it was actually the first and only pumpkins CD i played until it was too scratched to be enjoyable, i got into the game a little late i guess, but I fell in love with the tracks on there.
they made SP seems like a really deep, diverse band. you know, most of the tracks on it are available elsewhere like MII and even TAFH, Blissed and Gone is on the disc prepackaged with some Machina copies. the real treats are the Adore era cuts and HTTAB from the SIYL single |

So.. even though I have everything Gish thru Machina II, should I buy the Greatest Hits?
Also... some clown on EBay is packaging two cd's with finished labels etc etc etc as Machina II. What a bastard. These are the people who should be sued by mutherfuckinglarsulrichGO. I'm going to go find that flash clip now... It's all coming back.. all coming back to me now. Last edited by IWishIWasBlank : 12-29-2006 at 11:21 AM. |

I never understood why Judas o *******d tracks from TAFH. I remember being super pissed about that. Because i really didn't need to own those songs for a third time
And songs like sparrow and winterlong were not so |

judas O was a very excellent purchase. after having exhausted the rest of the back catalogue it was nice to get a handful of new songs to overplay.

Now I almost have to run a friggin poll on it. So.. quick answer: worth the purchase or not?
I'll just play Mortal Kombat II as I wait. (Selects Scorpion) |

No one ever mentions it, but Waiting is a fucking incredible track. I got my copy of Judas O in stores 2 years ago. I walked into a Borders Book store and there was a limited edition Rotten Apples just sitting there. Twelve dollars.

Judas O was pretty disappointing from a tr00 f4n standpoint. I guess if you were a casual fan who didn't seek out all SP releases then it might be worthwhile. As it is, its hard to get excited about a disc full of MCIS and Machina b-sides, previously released M2 tracks, and barely a handful of new stuff.
I remember seeing here one time that one of the reasons Billy is not so high on Netphoria is because he came here back around the time the GH came out expecting to see posts on how much we appreciated Judas O...and instead all he saw were complaints about the pitiful track selection and so he took offense. |

To the guy who started this, I would reccomend Judas O to anyone who is not an ultra die hard fan. I mean, the only way to own all the songs on there would mean owning the various singles (and their multiple copies) over the years, Lull, and all that other hard to find stuff.

Well tow of those "unreleased" tracks are readily avaliable for download on Machina II/ Friends & Enemies of Modern Music.
