Default Prophets Of Rage fucking suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

You guys hear this shit yet? It's pretty much a new version of Rage Against the Machine but with Chuck D and the guy from Cypress Hill instead of Zach. In theory that should kick some major ass and I was quite excited, but man.... These guys have lost their mojo....Big time.

Like seriously, what is this shit?

Just hang it up, boys.

(I know this should be in the music thread, but honestly, what's the point at this point?)

Cringeworthy. Zack brought the cool factor, and his lyrics weren't so on the nose.

They would be a cool group to see live, simply cause they play so much of the old stuff and the Cypress Hill cuts always translate well to the band setting. Hell, Rage of course always played How I could Just Kill a man.

Yeah man, I love Morello and the other guys as much as anybody, but their post Rage material hasn't been all that great... I didn't even like Audioslave.

Some people are saying that the actual Prophet album is a lot better than what the Kimmel performance would have one think. You check out that shit yet Brett? It any good?

Hey Brett, another thing man, when I hit the arrow button on Alt Nation to get to the next page of news, I just get those loading squares going in circles over and over again without the new news loading....

I just got a new computer but it never did that on my old one... Any ideas on what the problem might be?

I works fine when I go to the Rock Features Archives though... Still, not sure if it's a problem for other people

I heard 4-5 songs off it, none of it interested me enough to check out the whole record.

First Audioslave record was great, the other two albums though were meh.

Well, he did have those Nightwatchman folk albums back in the 00s, but I'm pretty sure no one bought or listened to them.

Fuzzy, this thread is truly groundbreaking stuff.

Or maybe we just need to stop looking to 90s icons for modern thrills. The few that are left are just legacy acts. You shouldn't expect to be revisiting your glory days with this shit. Move on.

Woof. That was rough.

Yeah, I've heard 2 or 3 songs from it and I was so unimpressed that I haven't even bothered to listen to the whole thing... Which is surprising because I'm a huge Rage fan.

I feel like Morello and the boys have become too formulaic in what they do... As if they're not trying to break new ground anymore.

Yeah, I've heard a few songs of that shit too and man.....Pretty bad.... Pretty, pretty bad *says like Larry David* What the fucks up with these 90's artists? They all collectively forget how to write a song or something? Good grief.

"leftist lyrics" No way man... Prophets of Rage might pedal that shit, but RATM never did. Rage always blasted the establishment as a whole. It's part of what made them so great.
