when billy corgan sings "i feel alright tonight" in the song "monuments" off of the critically acclaimed 2014 smashing pumpkins album "monuments to an elegy," he is definitely referencing "tonight tonight." it's brilliant, it's clever, it's awesome, and it makes the song what it is
