Ford's pretty much said he doesn't have interest for years. Fisher maybe, Hamil probably, Williams definitely

What about the nuking of the fridge? I thought it was supposed to imply that he was immortal after drinking from the holy grail, but the person I saw it with was like no dude, they destroyed the temple... so idk.

You had to keep drinking from it to retain immortality, thus his dad died.

CGI can be done poorly, but if done well it can do things the stop motion and green screen tech never could.

He is supposed to have survived the nuke because old refrigerators are lined with lead

I agree that the grail couldn't leave the temple, but I was pretty sure you had to keep drinking from the chalice in order to retain immortality

The Wrap spoke with Dale Pollock, author of the Lucas biography, "Skywalking: The Life and Films of George Lucas." The author, who interviewed the director at least 80 times for his book, says that while he was doing research in the 1990s, he was allowed to read the outlines to the 12 (yes, 12!) stories.

"It was originally a 12-part saga," Pollock said. "The three most exciting stories were 7, 8, and 9. They had propulsive action, really interesting new worlds, new characters. I remember thinking, 'I want to see these three movies.'" He did say that the three films feature Luke Skywalker in his 30s and 40s. No other details were given due to a confidentiality agreement Pollock signed.

i read an outline of the 12 movies somewhere. it was unsurprisingly far off from how the movies ended up, but really basic things showed up in the prequel trilogy like how it was supposed to explain jedi lore and the politics of palpatine coming into power.

the sequel trilogy was supposed to be about hunting down palpatine and killing him so i don't know how much help it would be to sift through it to see how it really plays out

they could easily bring back the Original Trilogy characters. I'd bet there's a 50/50 chance that they recast at least one or two of those roles for the new film.

I can't imagine they would recast any of the parts unless say ANthony Daniels or Peter Mayhew die/can't continue.

i could imagine them recasting middle aged players for the main characters in the OT. If they can cast someone to play a younger Alec Guinness I don't see why they can't to the opposite with a character like Luke or Leia.

The main audience for the next three films are all under the age of 18 (probably under the age of 10) today. they don't have the love for the OT actors that people in their late 30s and early 40s do.
