Sweet. My Shure Beta 98 D/S has visited like 4 different US cities, landed in China yesterday and today it's in Singapore. gr8

Also looks like the Phoenix prototype is finally sold, dang it. I tweeted Jimmy earlier in the week asking if he can get Reverb to accept my lower offer (lols) and then this happened...

Jimmy's mic arrived... and does not work. UGH

Maybe it's the lead, but it's one of those small proprietary leads. Was looking forward to recording with it this week too. It's got some tape on it and the letter "C". The enclosed documents seem to show the mic was made anywhere between 96 to 2000 I think.

It works, i'm a dingus. Assumed my little audio interface was already delivering 48V phantom power but it wasn't on the channel the Jimmy mic was hooked up to. Derp.
