paragraph long fanboy questions, apathetic and reluctant one liner answers.
are you seriously so profoundly retarded that you consider this a great interview

seriously, when i'm reading more text by the interviewer vs the person being interviewed, that's a shitty interview.

and the statement: "Translucent and There It Goes might just well end up on the extra-disc" does not mean anything.
billy's abandoned more certain statements in the past. this one gets an immediate dismissal of my expectation.
he might as well had said "Smells like Teen Spirit might just well end up on the extra-disc"

But wouldn't it make more sense to hear a completely new song you've never heard before?

why would he put pre-Gish songs on PI?

Translucent was Gish era so that makes sense, but isn't There it Goes from like 1989?

Exactly.

All this "it might show up on the PI bonus disc" talk does nothing but confuse me - and lead me to fear that BC might be mixing words in these interviews. Reason being, didn't he just say a few weeks ago that they would be entirely separate beasts? Meaning - part of me was starting to hope for a release of the 89/pre-Gish demos somewhere... not There It Goes and Translucent tossed into the blender with some other random demos that span from 1990-1994.

La Dolly Vita was pre-Gish, as was both songs included on the bonus Pisces Iscariot bonus 7" (the Moon Honeyspider and Not Worth Asking).

I think the point of PI was "the best of all the B-sides we have, plus three really good unreleased songs" and isn't necessarily meant to exclude pre-Gish things.
