Also, I can't believe I've never heard Meladori Magpie live before.

it also would have been nice to have kept the original 5 discs and put the bonus materials on two separate discs.

I wonder if the Alt-vocal of Dreaming isn't a mistake like Plume was on the PI reissue.
leave the mix of the original tracks as is, fuck. since when does a remaster involve new source tracks?

A track could have been recorded but not used on the final mix. Quite common.

In case anyone was wondering... that picture I posted was the wavforms of the original TAFH and the reissue of BWBW... not that much difference. You can't tell. Unless you're Flood. Quit pretending you know what brickwalling means.

Good God, the alt-vocal on Dreaming is horrendous. Bizarre inclusion.

Live disc is fantastic, rest is pretty meh, nothing outstanding - Marquis acoustic is curious enough.

also am I the only one who would have absolutely loved to see finished versions of Germans in Leather Pants and Ravi Revi Roo? Those could have been excellent

I am really happy with the vinyl, minus the alternate vocal take on Dreaming.

I didn't notice anything abnormal. Packaging looks great. As I mentioned earlier, it would have been nice to have a booklet/the new liner notes for the price, but that is me being a hard to please whiney SP fan.

re: the lucky 13/sprc - bill could be supplementing these reissues by offering digital downloads of full double door rehearsal/live material that's salvagable, gravity demos, etc. the material was already sorted while going through what to put on the hard copy.

just my two cents regarding "how i would do it". collectors are looking for definitiveness and completeness regarding session recordings.

or if you want to go back i would love full waterfront studios (drown and others) or soundworks sessions (versions of hello kitty kat and slunk and pissant etc)

i'm currently cross-breeding playlists in iTunes i'm just thinking out loud here

maybe the couple/few tracks we have or don't have are the ones we have for a reason it's just so difficult to trust billy's judgement

Well, I noticed immediately (before checking out any waveforms or DR values).

I was being sarcastic. I noticed too but didn't feel the need to find out what its DR value is because I trust my hearing enough to know that it is mastered loudly.

Also loud mastering isn't always a bad thing and dynamic mastering isn't always a good thing. Every time you parade DR values around, it's like you're trying to make your opinion (loud=bad, dynamic=good) an objective thing.

I guess it takes a nice sounding soundboard version to get me into MCIS era Silverfuck.

I've never listened to a track with the dynamic range of DR6 or below which sounded great.
