i feel like i've listened to a lot of music that i did like, but wasn't so good that i didn't delete half of it or can even think of the other half without looking through folders. i've listened to many of the albums listed in this thread and i liked a lot of them too, but i can't bring myself to sum up this year in music by making a long list of music that i've listened to a couple of times and thought was 'pretty cool'. where are all the great bands making records people will still talk about twenty years from now?

i feel like i just have bad taste in music. if i was really into hip hop or emo or freak folk or eighties dance rock i bet i would have the best time

yup, i downloaded a few of their other albums. i listened to all of emperor tomato ketchup, some of dots and loops, and i havent listened to margerine eclipse. ive enjoyed practically all ive heard, im pretty sure ill go into their entire discography by the time september is over.

It's not you I think. There's more people making more music and that music is getting more and more easy to make available at the same time making records harder to sell. As a result the talent gets more and more diluted the more music is made available. Yeah I don't really hear much that will be remembered. Maybe its just a bad year (I still listen to a lot of my favorite albums from 2006)

t's annoying at first. i got into it because i got into the tracks where his voice wasn't so noticeable. and then the rest of it just came. but after not listening for a couple of months it is a little overbearing again.
