With pollsters, at what point has the curtain well and truly been pulled back to reveal the small man with the pedals and buttons

Language around Trump will have to be very different from Biden, going forward. Unless he also wants to stoke division and chaos

i didn't say the dnc created his name recognition. i said he had it and the unfettered support of "the party" that ostensibly had no interest in a fair primary but plenty in maintaining a status quo that won't scare away moderate democrats or new "fans" even though they'd get plenty more if they allowed "the party" to drift left (or forward...kekeke)

it seems to me though that the bulk of the votes was counted and yet they need a disproportionally long time to count the remaining votes - how come 75%* is counted on Election Day and they need three or more days to count the rest?

*Number is fictional and for illustration purposes only.

things look tentatively good for Biden right now. there are still a large number of outstanding ballots in PA, they are mostly early votes, and they are mostly from metropolitan areas. Earlier today there was a big vote dump from Philly, something like 20,000 additional votes, and they broke 92% for Biden. he seems to realistically have a chance to pass Trump based on those numbers.

in Georgia Biden has almost closed the gap and the remaining ballots are mostly from Atlanta.

I’m being completely honest here, I don’t think he got unfettered support from the party at all. Even Obama wouldn’t back him. And in what way wasn’t the primary fair?

I share your goals but it seems like you’re just saying things to make the DNC seem way more nefarious and effective than it could ever even hope to be.

If anything the primary calendar was stacked against him because we start with a shit ton on unrepresentative states full of white people who fell into Bernie or Pete camps.

nobody's saying the DNC is the only source of this sense of predestination that surrounded hillary clinton in 2016 and joe biden in 2020. the presentation by many of the supposedly favored candidate (prior to primaries being held) as a presumptive front runner was based on...what? a big issue is the fact that the public conversation remains binary and the vague notion of "electability" is used as a proxy for popularity or nepotism.

All of the votes being counted now are in envelopes that must be opened by hand, verified by hand that they are genuine (and ******* a signature), and then fed through counting machines (by hand). In-person election day votes are counted instantly in many cases because there is no paper/manual labor involved. Also keep in mind many of the people counting these votes are volunteers, so they probably don't have as much help as they need to do this efficiently.

In other words, Americans make really bad decisions and don't plan ahead well at all.

I mean sure but the blame for that lies at the foot of primary voters, pretty obviously. You just don’t want to acknowledge that your beef is with them because it’s easier to be mad at the “establishment.”

How great would it be if Biden wins Georgia

What's left of Trumps advantage over Biden is just 9000 votes

where are you getting this from? i am also upset that people voted again for some milquetoast do-nothing who reminds them of when they could more easily ignore the plight of poor and disadvantaged people in this country. also true is that voters are influenced by media and political party messaging, which in this case preempted any meaningful public discourse with a presumption that joe biden would be the nominee.
