can we have a gauge of initial reaction?
let's see.. rate from 1 to 10, 1 being a mess and 10 being a masterpiece, what you think of glow |

yeah, i'd go with a 7. the riff is nice, the ooh-oohing is kinda cool, the vocal mixing is lots better than Zeitgeist. lyrically too simplistic, the c'mon's get old real quick, pretty much unnecessary singing over the riff, a bit like with the concluding part of the imploding voice and bring the light.

It'd fit well on Zeitgeist.
That's probably not a positive. |

i love the fuzzy bass.
sounds descent. it's about what i thought it would be after seeing it live. |

haha "here's a song which most of you disliked - enjoy again for the 2nd time!"
then again, do you guys reckon people are more likely to respond negatively.. i mean, if they like it, will they be less likely to call in and say that they like it? rah |

Actually, the lyric setup mimics one of those Zeitgeist songs but I can't remember which one.
Come On (Let's Go) maybe? Whatever, I'd give it a 3 or so. |

6.0. Intro should be bigger, vocals lack any kind of emotion and the lyrics are a bit too repetitive.

I have to give it a 6. Sounds a bit tired, just like most his stuff since the reunion (SP2). But then again, it's a bit of an improvement imo. I'm just waiting for Billy to start singing and writing with feeling again. If that ever happens.
I'd rather have a new album in production than these "meh" singles every 6 months or so. |

It's awful. Take off Corgan's voice and this could be any other generic grunge rock retread band that would have sounded dated 10 years ago.

5.
lyrics are pretty pathetic, and the vocals are zeitgeist-y along with 'em. some cool instrumentation, but i just reckon it falls flat of being too memorable for any particular reason. |

i think the style of the song was purposely engineered for radio-friendliness. its alright. |
