i've had something like 5 different step parents and 4 of them were terrible. 99% of kids wish their step parents would just die

I have a stepdad...never hated him, and I've grown to love him as I've gotten older...he's a wonderful man.

5 different step parents is a lot of instability for a kid to go through.

I'm not Catholic, but Scotty was. Well he was the son of a Catholic. A bad Catholic, apparently.

No wonder he hates religion. Nothing worse for a kid than being Catholic with divorced parents.

My only suggestion is to skip any suggestion of hippidity dippity natural fixes and go straight for harsh chemicals posthaste- Dale Gribble style.
