you would think that growing up on the internet would have desensitized me, but now more than ever before I cannot watch videos that depict actual harm being done to people or animals. I guess that's good for me? I can't quite explain it. When I was younger I was quite unmoved by movie violence, but now I seriously cringe and feel distress when there is graphic violence on screen as well.
