So what's the story behind this tape? I remember all the LoC stuff from a few years back (stealth taping under Librarians noses etc.) it was interesting but I didn't think anything was going to come of it. Anyway, I got re-involved in the community a bit about a year and a half ago and was shocked, SHOCKED to see the songs were online. Awesome awesome stuff. so how did this come to be? anyone got details or or it still hush-hush?

the story isn't known. probably because the person who got the tape doesn't want to go to jail.

the story i heard, which may or may not be BS, is that a major old school trader leaked it

what i remember is that pmack got contacted by the person who got it, i forgot for what reason, and that it was all "secret squirrel" and stuff. pmack heard how that person got it, but didn't tell. all he said was that if the story is true, this person is more daring than anyone else.

this should be on netphoria somewhere, but i can't find it.
