Just curious... what's your source info on this one? And does it also have bass distortion like the other source?

Hmmm...last I checked, an item you're 'hoarding' is typically coveted by many.

Most of my masters on my bootlist are "hoarded", although that really just means that I haven't traded them out b/c no one's asked. I'm too busy now anyways. But I'm not holding onto them in the hopes of a leet trade or anything.

I only am officially hoarding two things - an Abandoned Pools set because I was given open taping privileges by the tour manager if I didn't circulate it (I didn't have stealth equipment) - it also includes a brief interview I conducted which has since been transcribed and put online. The other thing is pretty much all my tapes of Cex because we're using them to make an official live DVD. But otherwise, I have a lot of untraded, freely open shows.

That sorta stuff is the real goods. I want stuff like the 05/24 SBD, personally, I don't give a damn if someone is hoarding a show that has 10 other sources ....

#1) i can guarantee you're not the only source for this show. there are always a lot of cure tapers in europe. some of the '00 euro shows had more than 10 sources. rome 00 had at least 4.

#2) what'd you tape with?

it was an above-average setlist, though not the best of this tour.

You are right, IS POSSIBLE that there are some other sources out there. But I'm hoarding mine http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/wink.gif

It is DABS > Battery box (NO roll off) > Sharp MD-MT99. Position: second row, in front of Roger. Quality: VERY good and clean. Flaws: about 30 seconds at the beginning of Siamese Twins are cut (tape flip), sometimes you can hear guys singing.

singing and clapping (or talking) is a problem in every show i attend/tape. hell, there are even people who talk during mellower songs so loudly hey turn up on the tape, even when they stand 3 m behind you...but sometimes singing is kinda cool, when the whole crowd does it, and the band stops. it somehow creates a feeling of "being there" which i personally really like in live recordings
