I understand that is the reality, I am appealing for people to start viewing the situation differently based on actual facts because the way people react now is literally exactly what ISIS wants.

The media, our governments, but also just us as individuals empower and legitimize groups like ISIS by conceding they are some sort of existential threat. Terrorism is just one of many, many mid-level threats we face as a country and a species. Time for some perspective.
