Default An album between Siamese Dream and MCIS with the Gravity songs would've been amazing.

It really could've captured the aggression and creativity that the band had at the end of 1994. Like imagine, an album with New Waver, The Groover, Slurry, Revi Ravi Roo, Ugly could've been the single, etc.

if he put that diversity into an album at that point we would have never gotten mcis as it is.

we already got this with Pisces, and even more so with Aeroplane

the only "between-album" thing i could see being a viable push-for option is the electro-rock late-90s ninja turtle amazingness that would have come out of full album sessions for eye & end is the beginning type stuff

people may have actually held on to their copies of adore in '98 if they'd been prepped with such a thing

Yeah. But Pisces was songs before SD and during. But yeah an electronic album would be great

This is almost one step removed from being something that billy would whine about

We were already experimenting with synthesizers and drum machines, but for some reason no one could understand the direction we took on Adore.

And we're seeing it yet again, where Adore even though has become accepted as a classic and I've dabbled with synths on every album since, everyone still loses their minds when I perform my synthesizer interpretation of Siddhartha.

hard to say "everybody" was losing their mind when only 50 people actually even knew about it and fewer still gave a shit

I still think Pistachio Medley is one of the greatest things ever. I re-visit it every couple of years to appreciate it's full glory.

You can imagine my excitement when I discovered the Gravity Demos.

That slowed down instrumental Jellybelly.

the thing is when i heard eye, i totally expected the next record would be like this and i was excited about it. The thing that did throw me off on first listen was the piano and acoustic songs. I thought the album WASN'T electronic enough.

Is there a list of gravity demos that correspond to PM songs?

Yeah I just said this in a another thread. MCIS could have easily been a seven disc OPUS.

I would trade Gish, Adore and the Machinas for a seven disc MCIS. For sure.

Well, MCIS is already pretty completed with TAFH and all the other demos, bootlegs and such. Basically you're giving up Gish + Adore (fuck Machina) for better quality of already existing songs.

Did any lossless rips of the Gravity Demos ever appear? I've heard them on thepumpkins.net with their 128kbps copies.

Nah brah, what I was sayingwas that what if sp (1) had focused on mcis and made a seven disc Titan of Sonic Senescence. All the demos fully realized. Speed and Towers done right. Full band Ugly and full band Stumbeline. And: THE VIPER.

I think I'm having a stroke.
