i like videotape, but i felt like they couldve done more with it. maybe i just need to get use to it, but it doesnt feel as powerful of a closer as they couldve made it. it was probably my favorite song from all the live boots.

The drumming left a lot to be desired, but maybe I'm just too hard to please. It kinda fizzles out at the end, not quite as epic as it was.

Also agreed. I liked the song, but as the album ender it was a bit anticlimactic IMHO.

um. one problem i have is that this took 4 years to produce. i mean come on. it's good but they aren't pushing things anymore which is sad.

yeah this album does need more jonny, thats my biggest complaint. there are practically two eds on here while jonny is watching.

the album is really really laid back

ed's vocals are pretty awesome on arpeggi

all i need made me smile. this album is lacking some essential radiohead elements. depression, anxiety and wild experimentation. what we have is something close to ok computer in terms of experimentation only without the sadness and great songwriting.

jigsaw has some of that angsty frustration, and you can still get pretty lost in arpeggi. nude is also pretty solid. the lyrics in videotape are close to motion picture soundtrack for me.

really house of cards is the biggest let down(maybe that'll take some time), the end of all i need hasnt hit me just yet but i enjoy it more.

'within the context of the band' is such a redundant statement. just shut up.
