Yes, but that's the way he likes them. It's established.

i like daniel craig, also as a bond, even though he lacks some of bond's characteristics.

i dislike heineken. not sure if it tastes different in the states, Grolsch and Heineken are the biggest here and they're not very good.

the brewery is close to where i live though.

maybe he likes the higher water percentage because he's a spy with a serious job to do and he wants to look a certain way without getting drunk

i mean jeez did you think of that, did you think of it

also european heineken and nz heineken taste a little different (slightly more hops in the european version, from memory) but they're both crap

Didn't know this was coming out so soon - pretty stoked to see this, actually. Glad to hear that early reviews are shaping up nicely.

I still maintain that it tastes different by region and that this variation is based on more than amount of time being shipped

So nobody saw it or what, this thing just died. Pretty outstanding for a Bond film, but not genre-transcending like The Dark Knight, although there are similarities between the two

For the record, Bond drinks the martini shaken in the film

Echoes of Goldeneye

Cinematography is probably the single best thing about the film

Was genuinely surprised at least 3 times throughout the thing

Favorite scene is the introduction of Javier Bardem

Some interesting subtext in relation to gender roles in society and in film

yeah i saw it and i liked it. definitely better than quantam but i think casino royale is still better. and without giving anything away i was disappointed by how similar the villain and part of his plan were so similar to the joker. i'm also not sure what to think of moneypenny's new backstory. it will be interesting to see how many more of these daniel craig does as he has aged considerably since the last movie.

Saw it last weekend. Very good! I think it's as good as Casino Royale, but definately a darker movie.

I put this and Casino in my top 5.

1. Dr No
2. From Russia With Love
3. Goldfinger
4. Skyfall
5. Casino Royale
6. Live and Let Die
7. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
8. License to Kill
9. The Spy Who Loved Me
10. Living Daylights

Saw it last week a day after watching Argo. Argo was good, Skyfall was great. Thoroughly enjoyed both movies. Argo was a relatively low-key political drama with some quality suspense and a crowd-pleasing climax, though it did drag a bit at the end. Skyfall...holy shit. Near perfect. Well shot, well acted, well directed. Not just a great Bond movie; it's one of the best of the year.

Argo gets a B+, Skyfall gets an A-half-plus.

I also thought it was great. A little long winded, but still great. Loved Albert Finney in it.

I've never watched a bond film, they sound terrible to me. I'd watch this one though, because it has Javier Bardem in it.
