Fatasses rejoice - Wendy's breakfast is coming
http://www.dailysouthtown.com/busine...61BIZ2.article
Wendy's joins scramble to lure morning diners June 26, 2007 By Cheryl V. Jackson Special to the Daily Southtown Wendy's International will begin selling breakfast in Chicago, part of a national expansion into the breakfast market, the Dublin, Ohio-based hamburger chain said last week. Wendy's had been testing breakfast in about 160 stores in five markets; Chicago was not among them. The Chicago restaurant at 5679 S. Archer Ave. was one of 75 to get breakfast menus earlier this month, and the store near 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue in Tinley Park will offer breakfast selections starting Thursday. Breakfast only will be served Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. On Saturday and Sunday, breakfast only will be available until 11 a.m. More than 650 shops -- including 36 of the Chicago area's 160 -- will have breakfast items by the end of August, with the company selecting those that are easily accessible to car traffic, as the food is most likely to be picked up and eaten en route to work. Menu items ******* a biscuit sandwich, a steak and egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll and a breakfast burrito. Some stores will sell chicken biscuit sandwiches and sausage, gravy and biscuits. Fast-food restaurants are rushing to create more breakfast buyers, representing the most underdeveloped and under-penetrated business, said Darren Tristano, executive vice president of Technomic Information Services. "It represents the greatest opportunity for restaurants to expand their dayparts to try and get a greater share of those people eating breakfast," he said. Chicago-based Potbelly Sandwich Works and YUM! Brands' Taco Bell are among other chains testing breakfast. |

I would eat egg mcmuffins and hash browns every single goddamn day if I didn't know they were killing me.
While we're on it, I would smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day and dump Irish Whisky in my coffee to get the day going. It wouldn't be pretty or pleasant to anyone but myself. |

The last three times in a row I ordered a Crispy Chicken Deluxe Meal, they slipped a spicy patty in there. Appalling.
Still good, though. |

The McDonald's breakfast never fails to give me extremely painful cramps followed two hours later by diarrhea. This will be a slight but welcomed change.

nothing will top the Carls Jr breakfast burger.
I ate one every day for about 2 weeks and gained 7 lbs before I stopped eating there. http://www.phoood.com/weblog/breakfastburger.jpg thats right, hamburger pattie, bacon, eggs, cheese, and hashbrowns nothing like getting your daily calorie count over before 8am |
