stealing from a business as an employee: How could you do it?
OK hypothetically what if you wanted to rob a business blind as an employee there? How could you get away with it? I'm thinking you would have to use counterfeit money to replace the real money that you stole. So that every time someone did a budget / profit check it wouldn't seem like anything was missing even though there really was money missing.

I guess you would have to make sure that the counterfeit money wouldn't go towards your paycheck. Because what if you steal from a company and replace the money with counterfeit money and that counterfeit money ends up being used to pay employees? I guess you would have to make sure it was only being used for inventory or cashier stuff and not money that you recieve as a paycheck.

This is all hypothetical. I'm bored. Although honestly I can understand how someone would think I am Banana after a thread like this.

In real life people make empty promises to me all the time. So you actually care about someone making an empty promise on a messageboard?

I simply changed my mind. People do that all the time. I think some of you here are really too uptight.

I would need one accomplice, but I could walk out the door with about $200,000 at any given time. The problem is I wouldn't ever get away from it. It could easily be tracked back to me. And that's not really enough to get anyone very far, because you'd have to split it.
There are also "large transaction" queries that occur daily so someone would catch it the very next morning. Your best bet is stealing paperclips and pens. |

text conversation between me and my friend
Me: You think the initial counterfeit switcheroo idea would ever work? Friend: Yes because the cash never goes to the employees. The only problem is getting a bank to accept the cash and it goes into circulation. If the cash makes it into public circulation there's no trace Me: I told you I was a genius Friend: No the level of counterfeit money needed to pull that off would be extraordinary and for that 1 business you would probably do it or not be worth money spent to do it. It's not cost effective to launder money on the nickel and dime level. |

you also haven't factored in that you'd quickly run up against some fixed inputs like time, tooling costs and your (i assume) complete lack of experience/expertise as a counterfeiter
it's almost certainly more cost-effective to focus on doing your job better and developing your career |

He's also gathering up enough people to help me validate the assessment. So he's also showing it to his clients for that. Once they take the assessment he can see if the results match up with what he already knows about the patient.

if you read that paper i linked to, you would quickly realise the 'validation' you describe is not scientific. you would also realise that your 'typology' does not offer any replicable hypotheses and has basically zero explanatory power. go on, read it, we'll wait

You think you're actually going to change my mind about what I'm doing? Is this your intent? I'm already moving forward with this. He did say that ultimately it will come down to a university as far as validating the assessment but he can help gather up people. He showed it to a friend of his who is a psychologist and that person said it was very interesting. He believes in me and is willing to help me. And his psychologist friend is supportive as well.

i'm trying to see if i can help you understand that what you consider to be 'validation' is not how anyone genuinely doing science would use that word.
if your work actually does make testable falsifiable predictions about people, then i'm mistaken and you would be in a position to validate it. but if it doesn't, you won't be, no matter how much encouragement you have received. if you read that paper, it will help you |

You really don't know what you're talking about with this. This is just outside of your expertise. There are plenty of people involved with this who don't think it's ridiculous. Social workers and school psychologists have been very supportive of me with this.

also consider that trained psychologists also probably suspect the same diagnosis for CW as we do
