Have you ever listened to Machina 2? It is perhaps 8000x better than CYR. You can find it on Youtube or download it from the Internet Archive. Give it a listen, you won't regret it!

Wrath is the best one - his lead vocal is emotive (reminds me of Pomp and Circumstance), the background vocals are beautiful, and the music complements the song well. The "go where you know" melody is excellent. It sounds like a very distant cousin of 1979.

If you completely disregard the lyrics and attempt to forget that the 1991-1995 music ever happened, then it is possible to enjoy some of these new songs.

The Seattle alternative radio station mentioned the upcoming release of Cyr the other day ... and then played 1979. I laughed.

Wrath is the only acceptable song so far. Colour of Love or whatever is decent but rips A Forest so hard.
