yeah this is better. sometimes a little too "busy" and all in all too "digital" for my taste but very professional sounding and with some pretty good passages. 3/5

Hey my band (The Curiously Strong Peppermints) were just featured on this new Ondarock compilation (Ondarock is an Italian online music zine) called "A Million Ribbons and Shooting Stars." It's an exclusive new track... It's a FREE DOWNLOAD so check it out if you want.

Oh man here it is I can't believe it oh my!

This finally is the debut EP from Awkward Bodies! Check it out if you want. There's also a limited edition cassette release too, so if you want one of those just PM me (I think they're $5).

So if you like (TAGS) indie, shoegaze, noisepop, dreampop then check it out. The guy from 12 Rods said we sound like Ride, for what it's worth.

what makes you think i care? you think i check message boards everyday hoping to see ppl complimenting me? i'm pretty pathetic but i'm not that pathetic. i've been posting music on this board for years, with little response. it's something to do

btw if anyone actually wants to dl my stuff, all the mediafire links except the depeche mode album are obsolete.

thank you, rottenugly . it didn't need to be as long as it ended up, i got a bit carried away. and i don't really have the voice for some of the stuff i tried. a few songs like 'everything counts', 'goodnight lovers' and 'waiting for the night' turned out pretty good, dare i say. and the versions of 'personal jesus' and 'pleasure little treasure' are lol-worthy.

i have listened to a lot of the stuff posted in this thread but not all. i promise to stop being lazy and do it. there was one guy who was really excellent, but i can't remember the name now.

i like this. very arty, yet totally listenable/accessible [for lack of better words]. feel free to tell me to fuck off, but i think it'd be fun to put vocals to.

My band's new EP. We're finally getting some shows, playing in NYC on 7/25 and DC 8/18.

i like the general direction. most of the songs didn't immediately interest me too much, but i really like 'rituals of romance'.

good song. sorry i don't articulate much when discussing music and i know that's annoyed some ppl here in the past. i'm not a rock critic and i won't pretend to be. anyway! um, yeah. nothing wrong w/ the harp part. the recording itself isn't that great, obviously, but it's not the harmonica's fault.

Are you offering? If so I'd be interested in what you'd do to it. I've considered vocals for this kind of stuff but oddly enough in a big musical town there are not a lot of great vocalists.. And I'm not really a vocalist myself, so just went for all instrumental.

No, this is a different band.

It would be like if James Iha, while still in Smashing Pumpkins, started a band with Corgan as rhythm guitarist and Kerry Brown on drums and MADM on bass, playing Iha songs.

I'm actually Corgan in this analogy, so it would be Iha with a gnarly neckbeard.

cool stuff opera de nuit. You should post some more, this is pretty well put together, as in sounds like real professional level band stuff

thanks! that's a very nice compliment. The first time I posted my music on Netphoria I was in senior year of high school and everyone said I sounded like a "retarded 12 year old." If nothing else, I am proud I have come a long way since my retarded 12 year old days
