I am not moving to Seattle

We bought a zoo. In Southern California, not in Seattle. My wife died and I needed to give my family a new start. Unfortunately a tree blocked the road to the zoo on our grand reopening day and no one came, so we were forced to euthanize all the animals. It seems like the head zookeeper has a crush on me, though, or at least she did before she watched me systematically shoot every animal in the head over the course of about ten straight hours. Not sure where things stand right now honestly. But I may be ready to love again.

She'd probably want to move to get a job at another zoo with living animals though? I could buy that one too I guess. If the zoo's in Seattle I'll report back.

Honestly they're all just lying where I shot them. I could tell you I wanted them to return to the earth like they would in nature or something, but really it's all just too fucking depressing to deal with. I can see the family of elephants out my kitchen window every night. I do the dishes and look at them. And then I tuck my kids in and we share a favorite memory of their dead mom, and all I can think about is how many shots it took to finally take down the mother elephant. It seems unfair that life dealt me this hand and left me absolutely no alternative to the actions I took.
