If my memory serves me correct, they threw on some unusual percussion on Cupid de Locke, like pillbottle shakers and such. Maybe that's what Corgan is referring to?

cupid de locke, much like TOASE was one of my least favorite SP songs when I was REALLY into SP hardcore. Now I look back on both of those songs very fondly...
