they play like 20 games in 22 days and then get a break from saturday-thursday?

#1 in the NHL. Never would have thought that at the beginning of this season.

The off season acquisitions have given this team incredible depth, and the new coach has all the guys on board. I'm amazed.

The Bolts have Matt Gilroy on their 1st pairing D right now due to injuries. Matt.Fucking.Gilroy. They decided to stick to a hard 1-3-1 and force the Flyers to beat them without getting odd man rushes. The Flyers were the ones who stood there with their puds in their hands for minutes on end instead of attacking a depleted defensive corps. The Flyers easily could have forced the issue and attacked a weak defense but instead tried to prove a point and lost the game for it.

It was appropriate that Andres Meszaros was standing dumbly in the crease when Brett Connolly popped in the game winner. Tampa fans got a good look at that action out of him for several years.

Lastly, fuck the VS announcers. OMG Tampa is utilizing a trap system we've never seen this before in the history of fucking hockey! They're ruining the game!

Roloson is one of the worst puck handling goalies in the game. Do what the Bruins were able to do in the playoffs last year- get the redline and then dump and chase. I'm sure Jagr and Giroux could have somehow found some space against perennial Norris candidate Matt Gilroy.
