one of the finest uses of backwards guitar solos in recorded music. overall a incredible track... definitely the standout on machina. and man, that live video... i miss melissa, if not simply the way she grinds.

Fantastic song. And live it's just so emotional!
 You can hear him begging the radio gods "What is it you want?! What is it you want to change?!" He calls upon them to tell him what to do, as if no matter what he does it isn't good enough and it must be changed. He speaks not to executives in the industry but also the people, yearning to know what it is an audience wants from a man who has given so much. Then he curses the very machine that he recognizes has given him life, the radio... radio... radio... Recognition of his awareness that he owes everything to the radio yet hates it so much is what brings this song to the level of others where he sees himself in a relationship he hates yet can't escape! It's so good!!! |
