Thumbs up Just got back from Dinosaur Jr.

First time seeing them. I knew I was in trouble when their roadies turned the onstage monitors towards the crowd. My friend forgot earplugs, I'm not sure if he'll ever hear again.

I went Thursday in Richmond. I'd seen them three times before, and a few more times if you count J. Mascis & The Fog. Always awesome, always earplugs required.

i saw them last year on a small festival here in bruges. it was outside, which made it a lot more pleasant for the ears, i guess. i don't remember seeing any roadies.

I saw them about 3 weeks ago, and there was about 5 minutes of downtime after J blew out the power on his stacks during a solo. So while the sound guys were working on fixing a fuse or whatever Lou and Murph busted out a jam from the new album. It was fun; that Lou is a talky mofo.

They played one new song. The solo melted my face. Seriously, I had no idea how fucking cool this show was going to be. I'm a relatively new fan.
