On a serious note, that 97 France concert is amazing. Billy, James and D'Arcy all brought their A game that night. If Jimmy had been there it probably would have been the best I've ever heard them although I think I've only seen about 10-20 entire SP1 shows (on Youtube lol). I have obviously seen many other live clips though.

Agree. Hard for me to imagine that was '97. where does the time go? I saw them do TAFH in '96 without Jimmy, and there's two things I noticed when I was there and subsequent performances. 1. the crowd is always staring at the stage.. no movement... just watching the band rip. 2. It's probably one of the greatest songs the band has ever written lyrically and musically that doesn't get the attention it deserves. It's complete from start to finish.

Absolutely.. but those Pinkpop appearances had such a vibe. Hard to compare. I mean... Glastonbury "Children of Gotham" boot TTEOR is peak SP.

This concert is one of my favorites. Where Boys Fear to Tread, Ruby, Aeroplane Flies High are so choice.
