this works well as the last word in the "rivalry" between the two, so hopefully cooper doesn't find out about it. it'll be funny to me as long as he doesn't retaliate or anything

That goes without saying, cats are always cute...and in bow-ties no less.

I still think it was a very Billy Corganish thing to do. I would more likely buy it if Cooper's name wasn't on it. I just don't see the point of giving it more attention. Nobody except Billy even cares anymore.

Billy will hate him for life and complain for a real long time.

Remember when billy went on conan and he was angry at andy slighting him at some party and andy didn't even remember. Classic corgan.

At least he didn't print fucking t-shirts with their fucking name on it and fucking sell them at his fucking concert.

Even Anderson Cooper will have forgotten about the cat thing by now.

Totally agree. It's just too gimmicky for me with the SP name.

does anyone know how much these t-shirts were?

Doesn't Billy realize that Coopers just a news anchor and that he has a team of writers who come up with his content?

the kids not knowing what y2k bug was ITT make me think that they watched office space (I hope) and thought that what peter was doing was so stupid to be a joke and not a real fear. or when fry's dad is talking about Y2K on futurama same thing

most of us were like i mean really it can't possibly be that important at the time but there's always that little glimmer of hope/dread i have that it's gonna be true and the whole system will collapse or the world will end. similar feelings with 12/12/12

tbh i think maybe y2k was the first mainstream conspiracy that people just started spiralling out of control with and that was also one of the first events when people were really starting to get on line so yeah. it was emails at the time, they'd just forward on this barking nonsense about how Y2K was going to set all the nukes off and stuff.

you kids these days with your hip hop and your zippin and your zappin

that y2k stuff was translated pretty commonly into our nicktoons & our cartoon cartoons though anyone who says they were unaware was probably either under a rock or just stupid

at the tender age of 8-9, whatev

I'm tellin' you, the Y2K computer's got him. We'll face burnin' roads, rivers exploding, calculators transformed into Scud missiles. There's nothing we can do.

They'd better keep their hands off the bananas. We're gonna need 'em when the radiation turns us all into monkeys.

i was 8-9 hence my immediate go-to of cartoon cartoon + nicktoons

not that that means much, in this age of "bronies," tonies, & disney-feuders
