Honestly, the Edmonton show was the best SP show of the 6 I've seen in terms of Billy's voice and how locked in everyone was.

Honestly you should eventually tell the names, under which Corgan and Strawberry had posted on Netphoria.

The live stream from the show in Seattle last September is officially on YouTube. In 4K quality.

Doesn't make much sense to release a Blu Ray with recordings of Strawberry's team from a few days later under these circumstances.
And for being the same Broadway A level production...

It'll do, but I'd prefer it with more dynamic editing rather than done-live cutting and a better sound mix. Also needed a mic on the audience. I'd be really interested in an audio mix of this actually - some of these three guitar arrangements (Porcelina for example) are stunning.

I'm more interested in an audio recording of this than in the video. Every time they cut to a shot with the audience I want James to scream at them to move and stop being lazy ass kids.

Damn I miss audiences from the 80s/90s...

God yeah. Watching the middle core of the first two rows attempt to start a pit when they played Siva on Tuesday was really depressing. When you consider it's the same band playing the same songs that made that same ROOM explode back in the day. They do they still bounce and mosh at young-band gigs?

Are they still closing the show with that Dumbo song?

I wonder what Bill thinks of the new Dumbo movie that Disney is making. He's probably against it because it won't feature those racist crows.

Corgan himself sees difficulties to get such a project funded:

James, in your mind are you back in Smashing Pumpkins for good? Or are you taking a one-day-at-a-time approach?

Iha: I’m back in the band. But I think before all this started, I was thinking more, Let’s just see how this goes and take it from there. But you know, it’s been great. The shows have been great, and everyone’s excited — tired, but excited. Because we’re playing pretty long shows! [laughs] But I’m pretty happy with everything.

So what does the future hold for Smashing Pumpkins?

Corgan: I don’t know that we’re in a place in our lives where we can sit there and make plans for 10 years. I certainly have plans for 10 years, but it doesn’t mean we’re going to be able to do them, and I’m certainly not going to run my mouth about all of it, because at the end of the day it just comes down to whether all of us are in the same place emotionally.

Schroeder: Right now I think the vibe is the best it’s ever been. And I think everybody is very cognizant of the special moment that’s been created. So we want to continue down that road. At the same time, as far as what the future holds, I don’t think we can give any definite type of answer. But I can say that we’re definitely having a great time playing.

Corgan: The music’s never been the problem. It’s always been more about how we relate to one another. But now we have more perspective on our relationships, and that’s the most important thing. So one thing I know is this: Nowadays, if you see us on a stage playing together, it’s because we really, really want to be there.

That's pretty cool. I take all of these interviews with a grain of salt ("this new album is going to be our best album ever!") but it's great they seem to be enjoying each other's company.

Thought it would be a one-off and next time we'd see them would be in 2038 for the Hall of Fame entry.

After new year. She's currently doing an intensive training regime on the bass. It's going really well and I believe word is she's going to blow our minds.

Billy confirmed that he had a sinus infection that caused him to miss Milan. He’ll double up on his Alex Jones supplements from here on out.

D'arcy said a few years ago, she doesn't give a fuck about the R'n'R Hall of Fame.

Shiny and bright now being over.

London has also sold out last minute?
Didn't someone tell here of empty rows...??

Sieh dir diesen Beitrag auf Instagram an

Bologna, London, it's been swell. Two sold out shows, with incredible crowds. And again, my apologies to Milan, and I didn't want to alarm anyone coming to last night's show ( for fear of further cancelation) but I've been battling an ear / sinus infection that required me to go on antibiotics, and to put that in some perspective, I haven't taken an antibiotic for about 10 years, and I've only canceled 5 gigs in my life due to health (since my first in 1986). I'd spent a lot of time preparing for that gig, so it's sadly a missed opportunity. That said, last night was an emotional affair: the last Shiny and Oh So Bright Show. The highs some of the highest we've ever had, and the lows? Well, there really weren't any, honestly. It was a cracking tour top to bottom. With so much hard work put in by so many people. The band, Linda, the crew. So I find myself particularly appreciative this morning as I get back on another plane, to catch another plane, to get to Nashville for the @NWA 70th show on the 21st. And as a quick preamble, tomorrow I'll be encouraging those who support such endeavors on how you can order and watch the show LIVE on the Fite app on Sunday. Your interest is very much appreciated. Have a great day everyone! Live YOUR dream! Lots of love, WPC

If Billy looked like an Ice Queen, he must have taken some drugs.

Against panic attacks, at their difficult European invasion.

London was pretty crowded, I'm not sure if sold out tho. I got an upgrade for my tickets, so I imagine they sold tickets cheaper near the date of the show.
