You make a good point. I will have to write my $14.99 off as "idiot tax".

But seriously, Trent, next time can you make an album that isn't full of explosions and helicopter sounds. Then again, crap in a bowl and apparently I'll buy it. Either way, expect another $14.99 from me soon. Thanks.

I can say the same thing about NIN on every tour they have done, not just selected ones.

i'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that they hadn't toured in seven years. NOTHING.

It's not any more corporate than the retread that was "With Teeth" after the adventure, for better or worse, of "The Fragile" (for better, in my opinion). Old Trent's been reading too much Chomsky lately.

I am a NIN fan, but their shows are a little auto-pilot, as are the arrangements of the songs. Might as well be listening to the CD very loudly.

As far as Reznor's thoughts on Corgan, remember what he said in the Rolling Stone interview for "Lost Highway" in 97: something like, "I plan on staying ten steps ahead of Billy Corgan."

We should also remember that Courtney Love considers Corgan a "great fuck", whereas she refers to Reznor as "three-inch nails." Poor guy.

If Trent was willing to write and produce her albums I"m sure she would say he was a great fuck.

it used to be like that here in germany up to fragile. with teeth tour was still ok, latest tour was honestly shocking... i still have a soft spot for him though. that said, i listen to zeitgeist about as much as year zero, which is barely never....

i forgot about that.

funny, i'd think it'd be the other way around. I can't imagine billy being a "great fuck". Looks can be deceiving i suppose.

uhm, nin only had one more tour inbetween for with teeth. fragile was right around when the pumpkins broke up and now there was year zero. nobody showed up. and besides, not having any sign of life helps to sell more tickets than actually releasing albums according to you? yeah, sure...

this is not difficult logic.

SP has a fanatical fanbase and haven't toured in seven years=lots of tickets sold.

NIN plays europe and then plays europe 18 months later. obviously, they sell less tickets because they just fucking toured.

Billy fucking Courtney Love, let alone anyone fucking Courtney Love is sickening. If Billy & Trent start talking shit about eachother it'll be the equivelant of two virgin nerds in high school arguing about who has the better chance of getting laid. A feud between these two might've been something to talk about back in, say '96, but it's just silly now.

We will see who well TSP shows sell if they are still on tour @ years from now, since what you are talking is really the end of touring for With Teeth.

Whatever Trent... everytime I would hear your songs on the radio my hand automatically would (would because I dont really hear them anymore) hit the scan button for relief. I can't stand to hear even a few minutes of you. But everyone likes different things, ya know?
