I’m love/hate with Billy. Yep. When he's standing on stage this summer, looking out at a half filled venue, knowing that most of the attendees are grouponers, he'll know he won. When he plays anything outside of his hits, and he watches the masses go for a bathroom break, he'll know he finally beat d'arcy. When he looks over to his right and sees jack bates, the son of legendary peter hook standing there, he'll finally have his sweet revenge.

(and with the darcy um promo, at least people who read music sites are aware of some Smashing Pumpkins being around at all long before tickets go on sale.)

i get where you are coming from, i really do. i just think that the general public's interest level in SP is very, very low. and he's planning on an arena tour. it just doesn't make any sense...there's no way they will have that level of ticket demand.
