the most ordinary, regular indie rock band i've ever heard! Quite an achievement.

Yeah, it is a pretty solid little album. For some reason, "Fall In" kinda bugs me and derails the flow of the album to that point, though. Feels just a tad too much like something late 90's that I would have loved then now but can't seem to do anymore. That said, really enjoy the rest of the album.

Saw them here in SLC recently with Mr. Dream (who's also a great up and comer) and really enjoyed it. Nice dudes in both bands.

their previous 2 albums are much more poppy and low fi...there are a few pleasant numbers, but this is obviously their "coming out" album as a band. As much as I enjoy attack on memory, their next album could be something really special as they develop...perhaps our generation's in utero

i think attack on memory is more likely to be "our generations" In Utero, considering Albini produced it.

well steve albini produced in utero and he also produced attack on memory. chances are he might not produce the next album by cloud nothings.

It's definitely not our generation's In Utero, that's silly.

Wasted Days might be my favorite or 2nd favorite song of 2012 though. That shit is incredible, and even better live.

The lead singer seems like a total prick though...he wanted us to wait like 20 minutes for an encore... like who he was.

i like how their pop songs, fall in and stay useless are after the first two decidedly not pop songs

especially wasted days
