Sorry, I mean to say that I quite liked this song and I agree with you. Sounds like it could have been a SD or MCIS b-side

these are a weird run of shows. 9 minute cash car star with a uriah heep, boston, iron maiden, buffalo springfield medley. opens with porcelina -> beware the night mare. bizarre pitch-shifted version of daydream. stellar, wound, my blue heaven into the everlasting gaze. billy's voice sounds good for this era. SP was still a confrontational, aggressive, and progressive band that hadn't yet reached 20th anniversary tour levels of ridiculousness. 2 years later widow wake my mind came out.

also 2008 tour MIGHT be the best live version of United States (the only Z era song that I still like)

Oh my god I know. I hadn't actually sat thru that that before I made this thread and it is incredible even for 07-08, which was a whole album cycle of Lollapalooza style confrontation and stupid, half-baked, disingenuous rants against what "alternative rock has become" and why he's unhappy. what a miserable human being.

Pretty ordinary song. It reminds me of Superchrist.

it's confusing but i think this song is called "if all goes wrong" and then later "i don't mind" came about. but some people called this "i don't mind" before that, cuz of the lyrics i suppose

"Remember when bands actually gave a shit about their audience? Bands actually ineter-related with their audiences, they understood their lives & problems and they actually gave a fuck?"
Sorry, Bill, I've forgotten that as much as you have. He almost referenced ROODY THA STRYKUR there This one's for woo-dee Last edited by wpc33 : 03-08-2018 at 08:11 PM. |

Surprisingly good, even Billy's "Zeit style" singing didn't really bring this one down, hell even Z production couldn't have marred this one too much, had it made the record in one of its many forms
thank you grx |

I don't know what you guys are on about. This is sloppy performance of an uninspired song featuring a riff a 12 year would write. Proper not great in any way.

it's a pretty middle of the road song, nothing exceptional.

It was the best we could hope for in 2008. And it's still better than most shit that came out since then.

It's the first thing in a long time that doesn't hurt our ears, therefore we are fooled into thinking it is good.

The riff is awful and the song stinks. Its like the second you heard "Taruntula" for the first time in 2007 and you were like ahhh shit this is too metal... and like .. bad metal.
