Eggs cooked in (good) butter on rye. Or soft/barely hardboiled. I also do eggs of all types with congee or plain brown rice. Thanks and goodnight.

What is responsible for how mental illness manifests? Like for those that hear voices, why do they hear the ones they do?

Mike and I decided to take a quick trip to buffalo to meet Lil bub (I know you should never meet your heroes but I can't help myself) and also to go to Canada's side of the Niagara Falls. Our first trip to another country as a couple!

want to know what an eating disorder is like? i have YEARS worth of logs of everything I've eaten. every snack, every meal, every drink and the calories consumed for all of it. Not everybody is this obnoxious with their ED. I don't fast. Most girls seem to get into fasting like it's an accomplishment that proves they have an ED.
I eat the exact same thing every day for breakfast and lunch. and almost the same thing for dinner (it doesn't vary much). And i plan a snack three times a day that's usually one of three things. And I've been taking photos of my meals. I added the photos to my routine this year. every moring: 2-3 eggs with spinach and sometimes diced mushrooms every lunch: salad with 2-5 oz of chicken Dinner 4-6 oz of chicken or fish with 8-16 oz of vegetables Safe snacks: baked cheetos (28 grams), reduced fat pringles (28 grams), cantalope, watermelon I put hot sauce on almost everything. The worst thing that ever happened to me was my smart phone, which allowed me to look up and log my food any time of day or night. |

I'm not going to argue that you have an eating disorder but it does sound pretty balanced regardless. Is chronically overeating to the point of prediabetes an eating disorder?

I get it scotty. I feel like I'm doing it 'right' when I have the same breakfast and lunch every day.
My breakfast is first: 1 cup of water with medication 1 cup of earl grey tea with skim milk oatmeal made with: 1/4cup wholegrain oats 1/3 cup wheat bran 1/2 wheat germ 1 tbsp natural peanut butter 3 tbsp full fat greek yoghurt 1 small granny smith apple, chopped cinnamon 2 cups of black coffee My lunch: 1/4 cup shredded red cabbage 1/2 finely sliced red or green chilli 1/2 lebanese cucumber 6 cherry tomatoes 1/2 cup flat leaf parsley 1/4 cup fresh coriander 1/4 cup fresh basil dressing 1 tsp sesame oil 1 tbsp balsamic vinger 1 95g tin of Sirena chilli lite tuna My snacks are different to yours though - yours are too carb-y for me and make me too hungry. morning: celery sticks afternoon: 2 ryvita wafers with 2 slices low fat processed cheese dinner: meat, vegetables, legumes After dinner: herbal tea But you know. I'm medicated and stable right now so my diet is: any food I can see, I eat until it's gone. |

I failed a semester at uni because in between cooking wholewheat pumpernickel bagels from scratch and exercising, I was logging everything I ate (so, the individual ingredients of every recipe) into spreadsheets so that I could make sure I was consuming all macro and micronutrients in appropriate quantities.
My 'right' breakfast and lunch are actually modified versions of the ones I used to eat then - every morning porridge made with oats, wheatgerm, cocoa, ground flaxseed and skim milk, with a sliced banana. Lunch: steamed veggies: 1 cup cabbage, 1/2 cup carrot, 1/4 cup peas. 1 cup steamed tofu. 1 tsp shoyu, chilli powder. I was a broke student then, so ate less fresh stuff. Snacks were sunflower seeds because they were cheap. Once or twice a week I would have a skim milk latte with equal. Dinner was either pumpkin and lentil casserole served with tahini and unsweetened yoghurt or wholewheat spaghetti with chilli and tuna. |

I don't believe in using the ignore feature.
It's not like I think I'd miss out on anything by putting him on ignore, but I'd rather just watch him flap in the wind while everyone else ignores him. It's more fun that way. |
