you've been in bad relationships with bad people. she may have known he was a dick before getting with him, but there's no way for us to know now that she is what you would call a willing participant to his despicableness. i can imagine her husband threatening and beating her. especially now that he is president.

I'm not saying she is as culpable as him in anything. It seems unlikely she married him out of some kind of passion for him as a person (because... he is obviously narcissistic in any interaction, and she wasn't a child). She may in fact have mixed feelings about marrying him and being with him now, and he may in fact threaten the shit out of her. But I think comparing her to a mob wife is much more apt than a typical domestic assault victim.

That said I don't think she is as bad as him and don't wish prison on her or anything. But he was a billionaire asshole when he married her. She had to have known he was deranged.
