There appeared to be money coming in about equally on both teams today... No need to fix a game like that.... There's no money in it. But I will say with hindsight that I think it was in the NFL's best interest to have the Eagles win... Gives a romantic underdog success story against the big bad hated Patriots... If the Patriots won then it's just like, well they won again... Whoopdy doo

There's money in fixing it if one sides getting all the action... But if you have equal money coming in on each side, there's really no point... In that case the story line becomes the most important part of the fix... Cause the mythology surrounding sports is always based on a good story line.
