So, the actual list has been dropped now. From what I'm hearing, it doesn't out a bunch of public officials, it's mostly just people already open about their affiliation with the KKK. Like, they just went to a KKK Facebook group and copied the names or something.

The KKK manifests in spirit every time a black person is executed by police. It's kind of hard to "de-hood" the NYPD when their actions are out in the open and no one gives a fuck. Awesome idea but most of these people are dead or in prison.

And honestly, would it really change anything? Aren't there senators and congressmen who are commonly known to be associated with the KKK? Lindsay Graham? All that would change is Fox News would have to get a little more tactful with their rhetoric, use some doublespeak postmodern finesse, spin up some new talking points, and all of a sudden white supremacists are being oppressed due to constraints on their freedom of speech
