If a friend's band is playing of course i'll go support them, and if there's a small band with a nice buzz i'll go too.
yeah you don't have the luxury of living in a place like austin where i can find out about an $18 emma ruth rundle/this will destroy you/deafheaven show the day before and still get tickets for me & my friend

I've considered flying to Austin to see them. Their tours never seem to come near here.

it's just never worked out though. If i ever do such a thing we can meet up for a beer and not talk and just stare awkwardly at our beers.

Why would even bother to call in for that in the first place?

No knocking at all. Angry Again is one of my favourite songs.

Pfftt, you can get their whole discography for like ten bucks at the record store down the street.

I know, because I own most of it.

I know you're not talking to me, but I too love that band. Saw them open for Circa Survive a few years back, had no idea who they were, and walked away a fan. Phantoms and Monuments are a constant in my rotation. Wish they'd put out a new album already.

You sound like a casual rocker.

No one can deny the greatness of this song

Shit like that has aged a lot better than a large portion of 90's "alt-rock"

I don't blame anyone for not liking them; they're a bit of an acquired taste. Having said that, I've enjoyed them since Juturna and their shows never fail to entertain.

Not sure if Ume would even be up your alley (i.e. I don't know you very well yet) but they're not really of the same ilk as Circa.

The Who is playing the Arena here soon. $400 for floor seats. Not front row... but middle of the floor! I checked to see if there were any 'cheap' seats but I should have known better.

There's something fucked up about the USA that regular seats for legacy acts sell for prices like that. In the UK VIP front row tickets for this tour are £285 and come with a merch package.
