I don't know why people want to meet
All they know is that they'll breed like rabbits in the end
Because ordinary people on the street they never know
But if they can't be rabbits they'll be friends

I really like this line.

But the funny thing is happened to her nose
It grew until it reached all of her toes
Now when they say her feet smell, they mean her nose

I have spent my whole life scared, frightened of things that could happen, might happen, might not happen, 50-years I spent like that. Finding myself awake at three in the morning. But you know what? Ever since my diagnosis, I sleep just fine.
---
What I came to realize is that fear, that’s the worst of it. That’s the real enemy. So, get up, get out in the real world and you kick that bastard as hard you can right in the teeth.
---
It’s kind of funny. When I got my diagnosis – cancer – I said to myself, ‘Why me?’ And then, the other day, when I got the good news, I said the same thing.

It's human nature to be more scared of the unknown than the known.

My point is that not being scared of death once you've been diagnosed isn't necessarily strange.

Or looking at it from another angle, if one suspects they might have a certain illness, one might be gripped with anxiety right up until they are diagnosed with negative test results. Which is obviously not strange.

(Makes no sense out of context and, speaking to others, I seem to be the only one who found that line hilarious).

something along the lines of, "it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt," commonly attributed to the likes of mark twain but apparently its origin is some fellow name maurice switzer http://quoteinvestigator.com/2010/05/17/remain-silent/

i have to say i prefer it stated as i quoted it, rather than switzer's original wording

best line morrissey ever wrote is

"Let me put my hands on your mammary glands"

sorry to be juvenile but this is kinda genius.

Ok its not REALLY the best line but its one of my favorite. Also it doesn't sound like a joke the way he sings it which just makes it better. Most bands couldn't pull off that line because you'd be like "well that's retarded" but when Morrissey sings it you think, oh that is funny. And i have documented how i don't really like Morrissey before but credit where it's due. Also it's mainly as a person i don't like him. Though his lyrical and vocal mannerisms do grate after a while
