Yeah, I thought he was going to turn out to be a rapist or whatever, but I guess the story is just that shitty insecure manipulative boyfriend got dumped. Cool, many such cases.

Maybe I'd care more if he seemed particularly masterful at manipulation. Like, using a bunch of psychological tactics to put a vulnerable person into an inescapable situation. But it sounds liked he was just an insecure narcissist loser who whined about his successful surfer girlfriend having a life and got shown the door. There are a lot of bad relationships and shitty partners out there, but I guess I'm supposed to care about Hill in particular because he's a celebrity.

I didn't really expect to like Superbad, but I did. There was at least one unnecessary "gross out" scene, if I remember right, but overall I'd describe it as Fun.

I've never given Jonah Hill much thought, though.

i read the texts and am mildly team jonah hill. he set a boundary reasonably and she didn't want to comply so they broke up. who cares. people are allowed to not want their SO posting sexy pics on the internet or to dislike a SOs friends and to break up with them over it. her posting the screenshots saying "emotional abuse" seems like she's just sore she got dumped.
